After all, nothing can match the punishment offered by the peloton’s toughest cyclists in the two most punishing races on the pro calendar. And, for Trek, these two spring classics monuments have been crucial to the development and evolution of its prized Domane and Madone models. “Yeah, those races definitely offer the ultimate test,” says Matt Shriver, the team liaison for Trek bicycles and the Trek-Segafredo pro cycling team. “They are just so hard, so grueling.”
