Oct 28, 2015 – Metrics are key to improving. From the basics like speed and time, to more important numbers like heart rate and power, any serious rider is collecting serious data on the bike.

Peloton

BSX Insight has a new metric to add to that list: lactate threshold. Previously, lactate could only be measured with an ear or finger prick after an effort by a trainer or doctor, but a new calf sleeve by BSX has made self-lactate measurement on the bike possible.

Pairing to your ANT+ or Bluetooth power and heart-rate monitor, the BSX will look inside your muscles to determine your training and performance zones.
