Saris Racks for a Good Cause Saris will donate $10 to World Bicycle Relief or Free Bikes 4 Kidz for each special edition Bones rack sold.

If you see a trunk rack out on the roads, chances are it’s a Saris Bones—or a rack trying to imitate it. Designed by Italian designer Fabio Pedrini, this rack has stood the test of time, and is now in its 25th year of production, with availability in over 60 countries.

PELOTON

After helping countless people move their bikes around for a quarter-century, Saris is using this milestone to help get bikes into the hands of people who need them the most. For each Bones EX 3-bike limited edition rack sold in the matte blue or red anniversary colors, Saris will donate $10 to World Bicycle Relief or Free Bikes 4 Kidz.

Proceeds from the red version will go towards World Bicycle Relief. Saris has already been a supporter of this group—whose mission is to provide robust bicycles for transportation to those in need to eliminate economic, education and healthcare barriers—in the past. Now, each red version of the Bones EX 3 provides $10 toward one of the group’s Buffalo Bikes, which cost $147 each.

Proceeds from the blue version will benefit Free Bikes 4 Kidz, a non-profit organization that refurbishes gently used bikes and distributes them to kids in need. Just $30 puts a kid on a bike with a new helmet.

Both anniversary colors are available for a limited time only here. If you’re in the market for a trunk rack, now is the perfect time, and you’ll help out others in need in the process. Of course, even if you’re not in the market for trunk rack, you can still help out at fb4k.org and worldbicyclerelief.org.

New Hitch Rack For RVs

One of Saris’ biggest requests is for RV-compatible hitch racks. So it teamed up with Winnebago to create an RV-compatible version of the SuperClamp EX, called the SuperClamp HD. It features a 2-inch hitch that comes in a two-bike model, accommodating up to 50-inch wheelbases. It retails for $550.
