Little known in the US, Café du Cycliste started as conversations during mid-ride coffee stops on the Cote d’Azur, home to great riding and dozens of pro cyclists. It quickly evolved into some of the most gorgeous clothing on the road. We discovered it while researching brands for issue 22 of peloton with its French theme.
They call their clothing ‘tailored tech’ and design them to be elegant but technically proficient. ‘Sur le Bitume’ is their performance line for the roadie in need of quality kit that has a traditional French look, while ‘Sur le Zinc’ is a group of relaxed and casual clothing designed for commuting or city riding.
