Peloton joined journalists from 13 countries to honor Bianchi and its launch of the 2012 product range. The press event was held June 14-15 at the Castello di Clanezzo, near Bergamo and the foothills of the Alps. 

Highlights were plenty during the two-day event. Stories at dinner from Product Manager Angelo Lecchi, a former pro who recalled with too much modesty his ride over the Gavia Pass in the infamous 1988 Giro d'Italia. The beautiful setting of the Castello di Clanezzo. Gracious professionals from the Androni-Giocattoli team. Old and new friends talking cycling, history, and finding common linguistic ground amidst a diverse group.

And, naturally, the beautiful range of Bianchi bikes for 2012 didn't disappoint. In addition to the flagship Oltre, the carbon Sempre and aluminum Impulso were on hand for test rides in the hills north of Clanezzo.
