The whimsy and adventure of the l'Eroica continue to capture the cycling world's hearts with a celebration of steel frames, toe clips, and decidedly non-aero clothing. Held around Sienna in Italy's Tuscany region, the ride sends cyclists rolling through rolling hills and over the famed strade bianche in a selection of routes varying in length from 38-205 kilometers.

The rules of entry are clear, chief among them the following edict: "Only cyclists with vintage bicycles will be permitted to participate."

Jered and Ashley Gruber were there to capture the action in all its retro glory.
