The 2010 season was filled with turmoil for the world’s fastest sprinter Mark Cavendish. Early season dental problems and a of lack form had many writing off the British Speedster. A series of crashes and an ill-advised victory salute added to speculation that Cavendish was physically and mentally no longer at the top of his game. Heading into the Tour de France Cavendish appeared vulnerable, but in the characteristic style that has marked his career, Cavendish charged back to dominate the Tour and Vuelta a España.
